Making sure the Chrome Extension is up-to-date

Make sure that your Chrome Extension is up-to-date at all times by:

Troubleshooting

To ensure your StudyBuddy extension stays up to date, follow these steps:

  1. Open Chrome's Extensions Page:

    • Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of your Chrome browser.

    • Select "Extensions" from the drop-down menu

  2. Enable Developer Mode:

    • In the top right corner of the Extensions page, you’ll see a switch labeled “Developer mode.”

    • Toggle this switch to the “On” position.

  3. Update Your Extensions:

    • With Developer mode enabled, a new set of options will appear, including a button labeled “Update.”

    • Click the Update button. This will automatically check for and install the latest updates for all your extensions, including StudyBuddy.

  4. Restart Your Browser:

    • To ensure the updates are fully applied, quit your browser completely and then reopen it.
